Market day

Off to the market at Valence-d'Agen this morning, a foodies delight. Then we spent an hour or was it two sipping coffee under the shade of trees and chatting with expat friends of Jean. Each time we visit Jean we are introduced to a new set of friends. This evening she invited Brit friends from the village for aperitif. One family with both off spring, their spouses and 5 grandchildren made for good conversation. The kids also enjoyed splashing around in Jeans small pool. The two sons turned out to be keen photographers with a good knowledge of the local butterfly and insect locations they offered to take me out tomorrow on their circuit (of course I accepted).
