Cinnabar Moth caterpillar
Tuesday lunch time walk around Blackford Pond and up the hill. I was totally delighted to find Cinnabar Moth caterpillars munching their favourite food - ragwort. I don't think I had seen them before. They are common further South but relatively rare in Scotland. Although they do suffer from people ripping out the ragwort. I think they are quite pretty and they do feed the insects. Anyway, they made my day.
Otherwise busy.
