A blipper blipping.

Just got home after a wonderful day.
Many thanks to our friends and fellow blipper A. ....northernlass261. and husband Al. for making it special.

Perfect weather for our visit to Scarborough.
Mr C and I suggested we walk past the Spa and on to the South Bay.
The area I used to visit as a child, and where I haven’t been for many years.
A nice lunch at the Clock Cafe, and then a walk on to where the old sea water swimming pool used to be.
Brought back many happy memories for me.
We were just disappointed that there was no plaque or notice board to tell people about the pool.

Unfortunately a lot of the cliff paths are closed because of subsidence. I hope the work to strengthen the cliffs will be finished soon.

We had a ride back up to the top in the old funicular railway.
Then walked along the Esplanade and back into town before catching the bus back to A’s caravan.

A nice cool drink at the pub, then tea and nibbles back at the caravan before setting off home.
(. Slight detour round Harwood Dale as I took a wrong turn!)

A big thank you to our dear friends for such a memorable and enjoyable day.
