One man went to mow....

Normal service has been resumed . Back to earth with a bump, literally , at Edinburgh airport late last night in a downpour of some strange wet stuff called rain.
By this morning you wouldn’t know it had happened though. The fields are still a brown colour and burnt bare on the light ground.
A day of cattle work sorting out speined calves, dosing cows with fly repellent and shifting to various fields.
All dogs back home from their various holiday homes . How anyone can live without them I don’t know, when we came in last night the house seemed empty without their usual welcome !
Got the mower hitched on tonight and started to attack the next field on the long list still to do. The winter barley was sprayed off at the weekend so harvest count down has started and the farm we get straw from will be getting itchy feet too.
So it’s all go again . Could do with another holiday ( not )
