A great high forest grew around

I was up with the lark today, and was striding across the field in preparation for my nature play session by about 7.40am. It's a good time for taking photos, the sky was very stormy as the sun rose. I think these trees look quite magical, and as if they should be part of a fairy tale. They would be just right for Sleeping Beauty or Rapunzel.
Nature session was good, although very wet. Not one of the children mentioned the rain, and they gathered for snack under a lovley shelter we had made and drank lots of hot chocolate. Last session for these children next week.
