Budding Interest

On the walk this morning we noticed that many shrubs are in bud or flowering for the second time this year - especially the rhododendron in St Ives.

This was spotted on the way home.

Bit of drama on the walk - poor Toby - a westie - was attacked by a larger dog - he escaped unscathed but it was a bit of a shock to all our systems.

Toby did get a doggy treat after the incident - think we ought to start carrying human ones - possibly of the chocolate variety.
