Isn’t there a novel called that? My battles with onion, shallot and garlic are almost done.

Slightly amazing that the sets and seed garlic sat inside a cold house for 6 months before I broke the turf and planted them.

Meanwhile I started to unpack book boxes not seen for over 18 months. The gems and the dross.
