My Bonsai Corner......

    This is the back of my villa, where I have set up 2 different sets of shelving.  I hope, one day, to replace them with something more like wooden benches for the trees to sit on.
     The plastic shelving does allow for 2 levels....   that way the smaller trees can get sunlight while the bigger trees on top get the sun as well.  The bigger trees, that won't fit on the shelves, are sitting on round, concrete steps.  This helps to keep the Nematoads from the ground from crawling into the pot and eating all the roots.  A bad thing about the concrete is that it doesn't dry as well as wood, allowing for fungus and rot to set in.
    There is another visitor in the mini forest.....   Molly... she is out there hunting for lizards, the brown and green anoles that like to live in these damp areas.   Molly has decided she has squatters rights and the lizards must go!!!!
