8am, and the beach to myself for a pre-breakfast swim in the sea. What a way to start the day! And when we went out later on for lunch at the place on the pier it turned out that it was 'all-you-can-eat-fish-and-chips-Monday' - could the day get any better? Surely only something like discovering a new favourite flavour of ice cream could top that? Well, as it happens.....
