Wildfires

Seems like the whole planet is on fire. 

If my geography is correct this is the fire burning in Shasta County, seen clearly from the flight down from PDX to SFO this afternoon.  The West Coast is a tinderbox every year, it's just awful.

Back to crazy traffic but cooler temps.  The freeway was at a standstill, my driver said Phish is playing in SF tonight.  And she said Battery Street downtown had been at a standstill since 3 p.m.  The usual.  Got home in time to feed Naboo his supper and she played great music in the car, so all is right in that tiny corner of the world.
