One of those relentlessly soaking days. For the first time in weeks I chickened out of my daily walk, emerging only to go for a pub lunch with some old friends.

What to blip today? Bereft of ideas, I looked out of the back door at the rain - to catch a glint and a sparkle. This Winter Jasmine is beginning to flower and the raindrops clinging to it were putting on a show.

These diamonds might not be 'for ever' but they can last awhile if captured on a camera.
