Bassin blue

After a lovely walk in the town of Jacmel we decided to visit one of the main tourist sites around Jacmel: Bassin blue.
Bassin blue is a series of very beautiful waterfalls. After an exciting drive up dirt pads and through the river and streams, one has to walk up to the waterfalls. A half an hour hike which includes some climbing and jumping over rocks, leads along the different bassins of the waterfall. Finally leading to the most gorgeous one off all, the one in the picture.
The water is extremely cold (for Caribbean standards), but so refreshing!
We ended the day with a quick dive in the sea in front of our hotel.
