Take time to think!

I took a freshly baked batch of scones to my neighbour R this afternoon to await the arrival of his two (older) sisters who were arriving from Jhb for their periodic check on their bachelor brother!!
I have been wanting to blip this bench for some time and R was a perfect model! He has lived most of his life in our village - in fact our house belonged to his parents!
This bench, which has been polished over the years by many bottoms, is where much philosophising, and sorting out the world's problems takes place!
The bench itself has a history - the heavy teak plank was washed overboard from a passing ship, and there was much haggling over who had seen it first and therefore could claim it!
When we arrived here about eight years ago, we met most of our immediate neighbours, and their dogs, at this spot...and it will always be a favourite place to sit and just look!!
