Monday: Office Sweeties

Tradition dictates that, when we have been away, we bring back sweeties for the office.  Do you think it is unethical to bring back sweeties and then eat most of them myself?  Suffice to say, I did feel heartily unwell at one point........I should have saved you some red ones but I have always been really bad at leaving those.....

Now, what was I going to tell you?  Oh yes, two things:

- There has been a bit of a conversation on one of the forums about resurrecting Sub Sunday.  This was something that fizzled out about 18 months ago, but, basically, on a Sunday, you would draw attention to a journal your particularly admired and that you felt was under-rated or underviewed.  A number of us would like to resurrect this, particularly as Blip seems to be expanding hugely, and it would be a great way to both discover new journals and also recommend some you particularly enjoy.

So, I'm game if you are?  All you do is, on a Sunday, link to a journal and just share in one sentence or so, why you like it.  And remember the key is those you feel warrant more attention

- The other thing was that I read the other day about a man in America who has hired a woman to slap him every time he logs on to Facebook.  Anyone want to do the same for me and blip?
