Me and My Shadow

This is a Western Yellow-jacket Wasp......with a name like that he sounds like a bad hombre. He was getting a drink from the water spilled on the rock pathway. I thought the pattern on his back were great.

By the way.....got the van back this afternoon.....late because of a "flat tire that needed to be fixed"......hmmmmm.....I guess I will choose to believe her even though she said they didn't get a receipt. Oh well, she did get herself to her doctor's appointment and will return next Monday for a Cortisone shot in her sore ankle.
