Walking on water

It had to be done! The rivers Derwent and Cocker are so low that they demand to be walked across so this morning I did. In the photo I an nearing the bank of the Cocker having already crossed the Derwent from Memorial Gardens. Then it was a few yards down the edge of the river before I climbed up the bank to our house. It would have been a better photo if I had had Chloe with me but I thought the current might be too strong for her in the middle.
