.... late arvo, and there was a roar in the sky, which after dark found it was a RAAF Hornet doing some training.

Anyway, sitting on the fence found this blackbird also wondering what was doing!

Ran (okay walked fast) back inside to grab the camera.

To my surprise it was still sitting there twitching around enjoying the last of the sun.

Have not seen one with the white mark under the eye, maybe a feather broken. So, without a shot so far it becomes the Blip. I mean it waited around so could not let it down .....

... moon eclipse update..... yep sky tonight slight cloud cover and the forecast is still for cloud early Saturday morning when it is all due to happen. mmmmm
