School parade
Today is the eve of Asalha Bucha and the local high school students celebrated by marching to their local temple. There were drum bands and fantastic costumes. Unfortunately we were in the car and there was nowhere to park so I had to take my shot from the car, whilst it was moving. LFor the local people it is a deeply religious celebration. For us non Buddhist residents it actually means that for the next two days no alchol can be sold, not even in restaurants.
I felt very sorry for these students as there was a sudden very heavy cloud burst and I'm sure that most of the students would have been outside.
Earlier today I back blipped my shot from yesterday.
