siesta...

...koala style.

E, granddaughter M and I spent a fantastic day at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary 20 minutes or so drive from Brisbane in the delightfully named Fig Tree Pocket.
Kangaroos, Tassie Devils, Dingoes and assorted reptiles all sleeping in the sun on a glorious day...and why wouldn't they.

A big day for us all.
Miss M dozed on the way home in the car but no critter (human or other) gets quite as comfy as a koala!
