Short tailed vole

Rather cute little thing but don't know if I'd be saying that if it was a mouse.
Caught up with my brother and his family yesterday for a nice Sunday carvery, which was yummy. His little 2 year old son was very sweet, he has always been a bit of a sickly child and they have been told on average he will spend every 4 months with a spell in hospital, due to his lung function. Hopefully he will grow out of it at some point. I also had my two nieces there and hopefully now I have some Christmas ideas for them.
