...Fulminating and foaming at the mouth is the Pavlovian response of many a metropolitan liberal triggered when they hear or read  the name of the 45th President of the United States yet most Remain unaffected on hearing or reading Heinz-Christian Strache (Who?) or  Mateusz Morawiecki (Who?) or Viktor Orbán (Who?).

Will they take part in mass demonstrations on the streets of London as they did for the recent visit to these shores of the US president when 10 Downing Street lays out the red carpet for Matteo Salvini?  (Who?) No.

Their excoriation of the US president for the wall he is planning to build has been as deafening as their silence on the recently completed wall 'the European Union contributed an eye-watering €80 million towards.'  It reflects the malleability of the media by those with power and the groupthink of liberals, whom the US president needs as enemies and the European Union as friends. The former's proposed wall and condemnation of it gets the huge media coverage he wants, the latter's the little the EU wants.
