Gone too soon.

This photo was not taken today, it was taken in February on a Theatre Festival trip to London. These four girls were the “babies” of the group, the year 9 students when else from our group were a year older and from other schools they were even 2 or 3 years older. These four held their own against all of those more “experienced” performers, they really shone. One of these stars is no longer with us. Taken too soon. And today I had the privilege of being able to honour her by delivering the eulogy at her funeral. It’s an experience I never hope to repeat. I hope she knew how much she was loved, admired and aspired to.
