the kids hunted for eggs in an elaborate treasure hunt trail set up by yours truly in an homage to my doggerel-loving father and grandfathers.

visitor A even got a prize though mr skaterg1rl had to be sushed when he asked where his chocolate was (not sure if the men folk worked out if the prize for one person/absence of prize for the other were related matters..)

bracing walk in the park, warming up in the kibble palace then watching hunners (glaswegian for 'a lot') of motorbikes stream past on an easter egg delivery run to the local sick kids hospital.

back home for the wizard of oz. mostly narrated for us by carpetbiter2 who told us what was about to happen all the way through (that's the sign of an education spent in a wet country - videos at lunch break...). ate scones and chocolate cake to the point of exhaustion.
