The Skim

The Skim is a favourite pub on Reigate Heath. Properly known as The Skimmington Castle, it is accessible via a narrow road which crosses over a golf course. I used to come here in my late teens with Youth Club friends, and in those days it was just a simple pub with beer drawn from casks on the floor. I used to drink scrumpy, delicious! Now there is a proper bar (see extra) and they serve food. Even so, it still has a simple atmosphere. We were there for a meal with our regular lunch friends
