A Small Heath Butterfly Coenonympha pamphilus



Seen on a walk at Torside Reservoir under some grey clouds and in very humid conditions there were also many Gatekeepers and some Peacock Butterflies

Torside Reservoir has been at a low level for a long time so the green grass has grown on the reservoir floor.  Water ( The River Etherow) is still entering the reservoir - seen in Extra photos.
