Triffids

My gardening attempts seem to be all or nothing.  The sugar snaps went mad, especially as I was away for a few days, so I ended up picking a huge bag full.  I was surprised at how well they kept in the fridge, having been used to eating them straight from the vine (?).  The squash has encountered the peas and their cane supports and decided to climb as well; I can't see this being successful for heavy fruits which will surely be too much for the stem to support.  There are a couple of little round baby squashes on the way.

I still only have one beetroot that's actually done anything, and the chillies keep looking like they will flower and then changing their mind.
