Silver Y comes to visit
I think I take the lovely migrant moth Silver Y for granted. When I'm walking my butterfly transect at the nature reserve, they frequently pop up from the vegetation, with wings whirring like a clockwork toy wound up too far. They are quick to take fright and I rarely look at them closely. Well, today one turned up on the door at home and I was able to enjoy it at close quarters - a real beauty.
Sorry hardly posting or commenting these days - too many projects; too many emails; too many websites to check!
