"It's Too Darn Hot" *

What a horribly hot day. I went to the shops at lunchtime and it was showing 38 degrees on the Tesco building. Too hot for hunting for blip subjects. 

Ollie dog and I went for a walk this evening but it was still almost unbearably hot. Sorry but all I got was another accommodating comma butterfly. These are easy to capture as the males patrol an area chasing off any other butterflies and insects and return to the same perch. This one landed on my shoulder, shame I couldn't capture that. It's on a hogweed seedhead.
