Big Cats

We went to The Big Cat Sanctuary today. I bought the tickets months ago when they went on sale as it is only open 4 days a year. Who knew we would have a heatwave? In total we saw (read glimpsed) 6 animals. Everything was hiding inside, in the shade and to be honest I couldn’t blame them. 37 degrees was too hot for us too.

Came home via the local pub and then had a siesta at home before trying out The Plough for dinner. The pub is a bit dated but the food was great, so more than made up for it.

I gave in tonight and purchased the final series of The Americans, because we totally missed it earlier in the year, and nowhere is showing it for free.
