My other traveling companion

I bought this beautiful cactus for my Florida home but had completely forgotten that when I left to head north for a couple of months no one would be there to care for it. So I have been traveling up the coast and inside hotels with it for the past few days. Here it sits in the windowsill in a sunny spot at our overnight stop in Richmond, Virginia. I think it’s happy. I’m always happy in a sunny spot :). It was a seven hour drive today, grateful for safe travels. Homeward bound tomorrow and the cactus will see it’s northern home but will head pack south with us in the fall. Some people travel with their pets, some people travel with their plants :)...
