Wild Heather

I’d hope to leave work early today, as it was the last day before a week off, but a last minute request for estimates for future work put that plan on hold!

Eventually I managed to escape only a couple of hours later, but by then I was too tired, and the weather too hot, for my habitual Thursday evening stroll. Instead I got the car washed and took a quick stop at the army ranges near home in search of wild flowers for Miranda1008’s challenge.

The area was suffering from lack of rain, and there were worrying warnings about “Extreme Risk of Wildfires”, but I managed to find some Heather in the warm afternoon sun - job done.
