This photo makes it appear that there are two rows of mountains.  If you were to think that, you would be wrong.  A careful look will show the setting sun throwing a mountainous shadow onto the clouds. Something new to me.

It could have been much worse but we had a really bad day.  I got a call from Life Alert around noon telling me that mom  had fallen and the paramedics were on their way. After spending hours and hours in the emergency room, it was determined that she had no serious injuries but was pretty battered and bruised.  She has a very swollen, black upper lip, contusions, abrasions and a huge lump on one elbow and two pretty painful knees.  She is staying at my house tonight.  Thank goodness that oxygen concentrator was delivered yesterday, four days before I thought I would need it.  Honestly, right now I'm at a loss of how to deal with this situation.  I know she needs more care than she is getting right now.  I just don't know how to make that happen.
