Neighbours

Isles of Raasay and Rona off the coast of Skye.
Skye was so immensely busy that even weeks before, we had difficulty finding accommodation of any kind, and only through the Scottish Tourist Information Board did we manage to get a small B&B who doesn't advertise. Really lovely landlady and a super view over to the isles, Shiants and Lewis.
Apparently last year for the peak times, the police manned the bridge over to Skye, stopping people to check they had accommodation booked. Gone are the daysof just turning up and finding somewhere, as it was when we started travelling there.
