Contemporary presentation
Today was the final day of Chantry intensive for Katie. They've worked so hard, it was very evident in their final presentation. The juniors have had amazing attention and teaching, being in a group of only 6. They showed us some of their class exercises, a dance they'd been taught in only 45 minutes and did a brilliant ensemble dance with the seniors.
When I picked her up, we had to make a quick pit stop to our friends we'd been staying with before heading home. On the journey we got to see the red arrows in formation and then we got to see them coming into land right overhead! Equally exciting, though much less good, was the massive thunderstorm & torrential rain as we drove over the Humber Bridge!
When I'd parked the car up at home, we went straight to B's. Katie had a fantastic time playing with Bella the training deaf pup. The difference in Katie's confidence after a week with our friends' dog was amazing! Bella and Katie were definite buddies. She was too tired for the planned clarinet lesson but had a wonderful time.
