On Guard

A nasty surprise.  Yesterday, when the men came to mow the lawn, they disturbed a wasp nest located right next to the steps leading down to the pool -- the very ones a hapless, barefoot human would be using in weather such as this.  Mr. W sprayed the nest from a safe distance yesterday evening, but not thoroughly enough, because this morning there is a great deal of winged activity in and out of the burrow.  This little guy was keeping a close eye on me!  Another visit with murderous intentions and a spray can is scheduled for later today.
