The Palladian Bridge at Stowe

Morning sun on the bridge as we prepare to trim back the Alder shrubs which have grown along the perimeter of the Octagon lake , in front of the bridge.

Maintaining this 18th century landscape in a never ending task, even in 30 degrees centigrade.
