Drink it In

A dull start, raining in the morning, clear later until evening then more thunder and lightening and heavy rain. Very hot when the sun was out.

No chance of an attempt at the Blood Moon tonight! Cloudy and rainy! Typical of our British weather.

This afternoon after shopping and cleaning, we relaxed on the verandah with a cool drink and this Moth (I think) was enjoying the flowers.

Alan's daughter Jenny is coming this weekend, in fact arriving tonight, but could not get any trains as there had been a lightening strike on the signal system at York and no trains were going anywhere. The misery continues for rail travellers. So she is coming in the morning.
