Eltham Palace gardens and moat

Eltham Palace is in Mottingham near Greenwich.   Today dear friend and blipper Paola and I visited here.  It was once a medieval palace of Henry VIII.   In the 1930's it was transformed into a striking Art Deco mansion by millionaires Stephen and Virginia Courtauld.   There are 19 acres of award winning gardens...(we did not see all!)   We had a lovely day, but it was incredibly hot!   Thank you Paola, we had fun!!
