Today wasn't the day for blipping, hence a random seed pod. I hadn't realised quite how out of focus the fuschia was till I uploaded it.

After coming home from the wonderful theatre performance last night, the cat seemed to have lost the use of his back legs. He was really unsteady and wobbling from side to side.

He's not actually our cat, someone nearby didn't want him any more and he seems to live in a number of different houses, ours and our next door neighbour being two of them.

An emergency hospital opened up at the top of our road so we decided to take him at midnight as there was definitely something wrong with him. £150 consultation fee!! All his signs were good but he did think it could have been something with his spine as he had a very tender spot. We don't think he's been hit by a car so wonder if he's fallen heavy from a jump. 

I was literally up all night sat next to him and went outside from 5 am as he staggered a few paces around the garden and wondered why he couldn't jump the fence.

He's been slightly less wobbly this afternoon, hasn't lost his appetite - unlike me where it completely disappears if I'm stressed - and we finally got him to drink something! Fingers crossed.
