Blood Moon

Went over to the island in the middle of the Lake to see the lunar eclipse, waited absolutely ages, and when we at last saw it, the moon was already high, but quite satisfyingly red. Mourão's castle is all lit up for a medieval festival this weekend. The planet down to the right is Mars. 

And then, much later, the bright moon started appearing again, in extra. The sky was filled with stars and planets, you could see the Milky Way so clearly. Beautiful, beautiful night.
