Lunar Eclipse Moonset

This morning the full moon was almost in total eclipse when it set behind the hills. Another couple of minutes it would have been complete. As usual there were clouds getting in the way, but at least there were gaps. It was supposed to be a bloodmoon, but I guess the local atmosphere was not conducive. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful sight.

Also this morning there was a rare selenelion, when the eclipsed moon and the sun were visible at the same time. Alas, I could not see it as you would need to be in a place where the horizon is distant in both directions. Living close to hills can have a disadvantage.
