Blending Colors

I was photographing the hummingbirds in my garden but I like this photo more for the blending of the colors Purple, Red & Green. 

Another very warm day but it cool off this evening so we went to the County Fair. It was a great place for people watching, but too crowded to photograph the most interesting people. The teenage girls wore too short shorts and tops that looked like sexy lingerie.....what are they thinking? Mothers with multiple tattoos & piercings plus green hair pushed babies in strollers. About 30 young men of like nationality ran past us to join a fight being broken up my police.....then video taped the police escorting the brawlers outside the gates.....yelling obscenities. A girl "out of it "on a bench and the young man with her saying, "Get it together before you get both of us arrested." What was that all about? 

All of it seems strange to me......I don't know if I am out of touch with what is "normal" or if "normal" now is somewhere out of my realm of what I believe to be a desirable normal .
