The Morning of the Lunar Eclipse....

This morning I drove out early hoping to observe and perhaps photograph the Lunar Eclipse. I saw part of it then, alas, the moon slid down behind the Meadowbank Station Hills out of sight. However there was some compensation in that the dawn put on a magnificent display in the eastern sky. Maisie and I did a much longer walk. The weather was almost spring-like all day.
