thank goodness for the empire

8:30pm.

Sitting down to enjoy Friday's empire*.

I did some work at home this morning and then went with Mum and Dad to start talking about funeral arrangements.

Home and spent the afternoon with the weeWeir watching some of Hugo, doing some colouring in and making dinner before Mrs theWeir went out to work.

Spent a bit of time on a draft order of service for the funeral too. Not something I expected to ever do when I was a boy, or even as a post-college worker.

The journey of life is a funny old place. How very post-modern.

Time to sit and do something very old fashioned: watch a film and enjoy the willing suspension of disbelief.
