Wheel no' wheelin'

Off to see my mum today and sort out some stuff. On her suggestion we were going to go for lunch at the Falkirk Wheel, but on our arrival to a dead car park and signs that the wheel was getting maintenance we turn around and headed back to Falkirk. Not been to Falkirk for years. However not much has changed.

If the rain hadn't have started the water of the canal would have made this picture slightly better with it's millpond/ mirror effect. Sadly the rain started 2 minutes before I got the camera out :-(

Note to self: get phone with proper interwebs and decent screen!
