Is it raining with you?

A day with a lot of learning in, always good to be adding to a toolbox.
First of course, an assessment test paper. Pretty annoyed to have found myself needlessly rushing and misreading a question (stupid, stupid, stupid), especially as I was still first to finish. Definitely the wrong sort of competitive. Having not encountered negative marking before I left two answers blank rather than guess, which in itself is a pretty good lesson for more serious casualty management - know what you know, and don't guess what you don't. 92.5% phew.

Then on to practical; intubation, bvm assisted breathing, and C-spine immobilisation, blood sugars and more. Some excellent discussion around the ability of using one tool to confirm something else (blood sugar testing to confirm cerebrospinal fluid loss) and a not really all that surprising amount of dark humour.

I'd thought I'd go for a paddle afterwards, but the weather came through in blasts of wet/sun/wet - frankly the couch was more appealing. So a garden blip it is.
