Just before the race

Pippa (at the block of lane 7) just before her 3rd and final race of the day. She had a really rough start of the day after a horrible hot ans sticky night. Neither Pippa nor I had much sleep by the time the alarm went off. Pippa was very disappointed after her first race (200m freestyle), she wasn’t able to better her PB (and it should have been her best number). Thankfully temperatures in the Charleroi were down on yesterday and Pippa managed to sleep a few hours between races. Her second race of the day (50m butterfly) didn’t give her a PB either. However, her 3rd race (100m backstroke) did give a new best time. Now we’re back in a much cooler Antwerp, looking forward to a much cooler and better night’s sleep and then back to Charleroi for tomorrow’s last day of racing.
