You need hands ...

This is me on day one of of a two-day pattern making course.
It was organised by MMU and held at Stockport’s Market Place Studio and tutored by Victoria of VictoriaSeraphina.

The morning involved lots of measuring, calculations and drawing. In the afternoon we cut and sewed a calico toile.
Mine is going to need some further alterations but, hopefully, I will end up with a perfectly fitted dress bodice, from which I will be able to design and make a variety of tops and blouses. Well, that’s the theory!
