Village fairs

There is something delightful about small village fairs.  I went to a local one today - such fun with the Bideford Phoenix Morris dancers, the North Devon Pipes and Drums, the variety of classes with a variation of entries, two of which I've shown here..... the Spider is the winner from the 'Animal made from fruit/veg' and then there is the 'Flower arrangement in two glasses.' The latter looks like delicious cocktails - it won!  A friend won two of the photography classes with her excellent work. There were numerous other outside events like the dog agility which was good fun to watch!  Of course the obligatory tea and scones (jam was scrumptious) went down well...... a grand afternoon out.
