Lake Opuha, Makenzie Country

Our picnic spot today, It was a belated birthday picnic for me and we did it in style, my friend is the Queen of picnicking. Years ago I made a statement that when I retired I was always going to drink from bone china.
Look at the extra to see just how flash our picnic was. . We sat beside the lake with a table set with a beautiful cloth, fine bone china and even our soup mugs were Port Merion. When a shower came through we just put up an umbrella.
The scenery was awesome, and I have some awesome friends.
Tonight am out to dinner with my American friend who heads back home tomorrow. She came home for her sisters birthday. The two weeks have gone so fast.  Her sister, brother and SIL will be there also
